Authentication and Privacy
This course discusses the authentication and privacy aspects of network security. It describes traditional and one-time password systems. It continues with a discussion and comparison of the Password Authentication Protocol (PAP) and the Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP). It looks at such current security trends as biometric systems. The course reviews other security systems such as Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS), Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System (TACACS) and Kerberos, with respect to authentication.

Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to compare some of the different security measures that can be implemented in TCP/IP networks.
